I want to apologize for not being so active her on dA, other than the monthly posts for my Calendar Project.

I have a full time job now yay! on a Design Studio and it takes most of my time boo!.  Hehehe I wish I had more time for personal stuff and having some fun! but oh well, it's the real world and it had to happen eventually.  NO COMPLAINING I LOVE IT!

Anyways, I hope that the few of you who actively watch me and are wondering "What happen to MR.B AND MR. G? When's the next strip?"(probably not, humor me) NOW YOU KNOW WHY.

HEY THERE!

Recently I haven't been all that active here on DA, the reason is I got an internship at a Design Studio YAY!.  I've been working very hard and so by the time I get home I really don't want to be in front of another computer hahaha.  So for the time being I'm not gonna be that active as far as submitting new work or more Mr.B and Mr.G comic pages (or maybe I get a little inspired one day and continue... who knows? LOL).

First, I want to apologize for not updating Mr. B and Mr. G, I know I left the comic in a bit of a cliffhanger, no worries, I'll try to get to that in the next few weeks.  I've been busy with GRADUATING!!! OMG YES! Enough... and some other personal stuff.  After I reveal THAT comic I will be on a month-long hiatus 'cause I'm going on a trip and I don't really know if I'll have internet access or... TIME.   I will, however, TRY to create more stuff for my gallery and maybe even some more episodes for my comic.

Tommorow we celebrate Three Kings Day, or how we jokingly call it, "trikinday" and I just want to wish all of you who celebrate it a Happy Three Kings Day.  Remember to put your little shoe box full of grass under your bed or xmas tree, maybe the kings will leave something special for you! hahahahahaha....


The Feast of the Three Kings also known as the Epiphany takes place every year on January 6th. It is an intricate part of Puerto Rican folklore. Traditionally, this day is very important, especially for children, for it is on this eve that they will receive their gifts. On the feast of the Epiphany, the Three kings visited the newly born Christ Child in Bethlehem bearing him gifts. This tradition is repeated and reflected in present day with the belief that on this eve the 3 Kings will visit every good child to deliver them gifts. Tradition states that on the Eve of the Epiphany children collect hay, straw or grass and place it in boxes or containers under their beds. This gesture is a gift of food for the Kings' Horses while they rest in between deliveries. Notewe have no Camels in PR). If a child is good for the past year he will receive candies, sweets or toys. If the child was misbehaved or naughty he would instead find a lump of dirt or charcoal in his box. This tradition is much older than that of Santa's visit on Christmas Eve.

Mañana celebramos Día de Reyes y solo quería desearles un lindo día a todo aquél que lo celebra junto a su familia.  Recuerden buscar sus cajitas de zapatos para llenarlas de yerba y ponerlas debajo de la cama o en su árbol de navidad, a lo mejor los reyes le dejen algo especial!

En nuestra Isla, chicos y grande celebran el día de Los Tres Reyes Magos.. El 6 de enero Puerto Rico conmemora la adoración de Melchor, Gaspar y Baltazar al Niño Dios. En  Puerto Rico hay varios municipios que conmemoran la fecha
Es costumbre el 5 de enero. Víspera de la fiesta de los Tres Reyes Magos, recoger yerba y ponerla debajo de la cama en una caja de zapatos, con la ilusión de recibir  regalos. La yerba se recoge para los caballos de los reyes magos, aunque en otras historias aparecen con camellos debemos recordar que en Puerto Rico no existen estos animales.

I reached the 4,000 view mark! I thought it was never gonna happen.  I know it's not a lot, but, to me it is a lot!  Thank you all for the support and for the comments.  I don't know if I should do a celebratory deviation ("celebratory", is that a word? lol) but I'll see what I can do.  I know that there are a lot of artists that really don't care about their page views, and it's not like it RUNS my entire existence, but I was just surprised to see the number.  I have been on DeviantArt for about 3 years and didn't use it for 1 of those years....So I didn't expect to be viewed as much.  Thanks again!

Last night I was bored and decided to try out those live streams where you say stuff on camera or just let people see what you are doing on the screen.  So I made my first Ustream Broadcast yesterday and I was sooooo nervous. I didn't finish the drawing I was presenting to the audience, but, I will some other time (I will probably send a message before the actual broadcast to see if anyone would like to join me via twitter, ustream itself, or deviantart). Mind you I don't speak that much (because I'm afraid I will mess up since English is not my first language) I just answer chat questions and have my music on at full blast.  So anyways follow me on Ustream and on Twitter to see when is my next broadcast.  Who knows maybe I'll get famous (WISHFUL THINKING HAHAHAHAHA). ARIEL IS NEXT!

Okay so I came up with this themed proyect!...A long time ago I did a plushie of a bunny and three years later I decided (with my new and improved skills) to vectorize and make the character come alive). But then I thought..."Why don't I make several of these with different themed backgrounds and costumes?" And that's how I started. So far this is what I have come up with.

OMG...I have the greatest parents in the world.... they bought me a MacBook Pro!!!!....I love them sooo much....They told me that it was about time since my laptop was about 10 years old (yea a dino) jajajajajajajaja.... and since Im studying graphic design they thought it was the perfect gift AND IT IS!!!!....I LOVE IT!!!!....now all I need are the programs jajajajaja.... yay I am soooo happy!
